Welcome to the Vandergrift Project website!

The Vandergrift Improvement Program (VIP) is working with Pittsburgh History and Landmarks (PHLF) towards establishing the Vandergrift Main Street Program. We have been working steadily over the years at becoming a Main Street Program and currently we are in Year 1. The VIP and PHLF are working together with Sustainable Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Mascaro Sustainability Initiative (MSI) to revitalize historic Vandergrift, PA into a Main Street community that is also sustainable.

Each of the groups involved have their own blogsite where you can track their progress throughout this journey. See the side bar on the right for those links.
